Forming a relationship with a baby or toddler takes thoughtfulness, care and responsible intent. And it grows through respectful, responsive, and reciprocal interaction. We know the power of relationships and how they affect a child’s learning. A warm, close, and loving relationship fosters learning and has a profound effect on a baby’s overall development. For babies and toddlers, care-giving routines are part of our curriculum. For babies, our curriculum focuses on relationships, communication competencies and exploration of the physical world. We understand that babies have many ways of communicating (cries, sounds, words, movements, gestures, facial expressions, body position) whether or not they are that verbal. We respect babies as mighty and worthy individuals who have their own unique personalities. Keeping this in mind, we nurture a child’s disposition to learn, play, explore, seek and imagine. From there, the branches of cognitive, physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual development just flourish!
Children experience safe and caring environments where their emotional and physical health, positive identities, and sense of belonging are nurtured and protected. Again, for toddlers, caregiving routines are part of the curriculum. Focus on relationships, communication competencies and exploration of the physical world. Along with that, developmentally appropriate play experiences help children connect and interact with the material and environment around them. Promoting their self-skill and providing them with the opportunity to be more independent. Respecting their choices and preferences while using positive guidance techniques to help promote self-regulation and emotional and spiritual wellness. We know that "all the domains of development and learning—physical, social, emotional, and cognitive—are important, and they are closely interrelated. Children’s development and learning in one domain influence and are influenced by what takes place in other domains" (NAEYC, 2009, p.11)
The primary goals of the preschool curriculum are to encourage a love of learning and to help kids acquire intellectual capacity that will get them ready for kindergarten and beyond. Children are given the chance to explore their interests and acquire a broad range of skills by incorporating a variety of activities, both teacher-directed and independent. A child's overall growth and development is aided by the curriculum's emphasis on art, math, language development, and creative expression. In addition, social development is a crucial component of the curriculum because it helps kids interact with their peers and learn social skills like sharing, taking turns, and resolving conflicts. Children are encouraged to ask questions as part of the curriculum, which focuses on empowering a love of learning and curiosity. Our curriculum is designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each child, allowing them to progress at their own pace. Overall, the preschool curriculum promotes a holistic growth and development for children.
Children acquire critical cognitive and social abilities that aid in their transition from childhood to adolescence during the middle childhood years. Despite the fact that school-age children spend the majority of their day in class, many families require assistance during the before- and after-school hours to make sure their children are secure and engaged. We offer services that provide a safe and stimulating environment for children during these hours. Our programs are designed to support their cognitive and social development, helping them build important skills that will benefit them as they grow. In addition, our programs also offer opportunities for physical activity, creative expression, and social interaction. Our dedicated staff members are trained to provide a high level of supervision and guidance, ensuring that children are safe and well-cared for at all times. With our services, parents can have peace of mind knowing that their children are in a secure and engaging environment.
